This photographic series was taken during a course at the Isle of Man College and documents a building earmarked for development, as the foundations were causing problems to the surrounding buildings (according to the workmen on site). Being located on Douglas Promenade was quickly replaced with another residential building by developers. A popular and notable image in this series (the falling wall) was a chance shot taken as an entire wall collapsed, which created an interesting effect that would no doubt be difficult to recreate. The images were desaturated to emphasise the textures of the debris, the dust and the materials.

An entire wall falls unexpectedly, with debris and the falling wall in the centre of the shot caught without any motion blur.
